President Trump Hosts an Opioid and Drug Abuse Listening Session

Our country has a huge issue we all need to tackle together.

Chris Christie’s remarks at 6:16 are thought provoking. He makes the statement that this issue causes tremendous pain and destruction. He also agrees that prevention is important, and that addiction is a disease that we can’t be afraid or ashamed to talk about.

‘We can help somebody. We can change this.’

Thank everyone else for sharing during the listening session and sharing your heartbreaking stories. This is something that can’t be pushed under the rug we have to talk about it and find solutions that work. Let’s go out and save some lives, help people recover, help people with the costs of recovery, and prevent drug abuse.
